Our deepest sympathy is extended in the passing of Comrade Al Hardie (Lt. Colonel Ret’d) to his wife Pat and their family. We will miss him and his sense of humour and wit. Al’s wish to everyone “Make the best of what life you have yet to live”. Al used to write the articles for the Legion in the Phoenix and was the Bursary Chair while on the Legion Executive. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Legion June 18th and all Legion members are asked to be in full dress uniform.
Our elections for the next 2022/2023 Executive will take place at the next General meeting on May 10. The Legion has donated $500.00 to show our support for the people of Ukraine.
Our Branch with be hosting the Legion Zone Horseshoe competition on June 4th and the Provincial Competition on August 6th.
