Save the date

Be part of the Legion’s 100th Anniversary.
The date marks the Legion’s official anniversary recognizing the day in 1926 when the Canadian Legion was formally incorporated by a Special Act of Parliament. A historic
moment to reflect on a century of service, Remembrance, community, and support for Veterans and their families.  We ask that you come together to honour the Legion’s
history, celebrate its ongoing work, and look ahead to the next century of service.  Participate in a collective tribute of Remembrance.  As part of the 100th Anniversary
everyone will be invited to write messages of Remembrance.  These messages will be collected from across the country and brought together into a National Commemorative
mural honouring the Fallen.
Please join us for an “Open House” from 1:00 to 2:00pm on July 17th at the Merrickville Legion.
